Mold/Mildew Testing
If there is suspected mold and mildew in the household, we use the latest lab tests and analysis to detect hidden mold that may be in crawl spaces, between walls, and in other such areas of your home, to ensure you and your family are safe from mold infestations. Mold testing and inspection can also help to determine the type of mold present, which can help in determining the potential health risks associated with the mold.
Air quality testing is also important in determining the presence of mold. The air quality test can measure the levels of mold spores in the air, as well as the levels of other pollutants such as dust, pollen, and pet dander. The results of the air quality test can help determine the need for mold removal, as well as the type of remediation needed. Often, mold can be found underneath wallpaper and baseboards, behind walls, or may discolor drywall or plaster. It can even be found inside heating and cooling system ducts.
Finding Mold in the Home:
If our team finds mold after a home mold inspection, we’ll conduct a swab or air test to identify which kind of mold it is. We’ll collect a sample of these molds and send you a report from the EPA-certified lab that will identify the type of mold and the level. This report is both comprehensive and easy to read.
If you find mold in your home, it’s important that you don’t try to remove it yourself. Touching or even breathing in the mold spores can be detrimental to your health, so instead reach out to our team and we’ll take the appropriate actions to determine what it is.
